Animal Free Deoxyribonucleic Acid E. Coli Lambda Phage from Innovative Research has been prepared from CsCl purified Lambda phage and purified to A260/A280 1.8. This is a frozen solution buffered in 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, with 1mM EDTA , and is homogeneous by agarose gel electrophoresis and generates the expected five bands upon digestion with EcoR I and eight bands upon digestion with Hind III.

Lambda phage is a bacteriophage that infects E. Coli bacteria. Lambda phage is a source for many different applications in microbial and molecular genetics, including its use as a vector for cloning recombinant DNA.
