This human coagulation Factor VII antigen assay is intended for the quantitative determination of total Factor VII antigen in human plasma. For research use only. Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.

Human Factor VII will bind to the capture antibody coated on the microtiter plate. Factor VII, VIIa, and VII in complex with Tissue Factor will react with the antibody on the plate. After appropriate washing steps, monoclonal anti-human Factor VII primary antibody binds to the captured protein. Excess primary antibody is washed away and bound antibody, which is proportional to the total Factor VII present in the samples, is reacted with the secondary antibody. Following an additional washing step, TMB substrate is used for color development at 450nm. A standard calibration curve is prepared along with the samples to be measured using dilutions of human Factor VII. Color development is proportional to the concentration of Factor VII in the samples.
