Human IgM Purified from Innovative Research has been purified from human plasma. This is a frozen liquid buffered in tris and sodium chloride, pH 8.0 with 0.05% sodium azide, with a concentration of 1-3mg/ml and a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is useful in applications like Immunoassay and Immunology and more. Immunoglobulin M (IgM) is an antibody that plays a role in binding complement component C1 and activating the classical pathway, as well as other activities that are J-chain or Fc receptor dependent. IgM is the largest antibody, and is the first antibody to respond to initial antigen exposure. IgM is mainly produced in the spleen.
